So you just tighten it up until there little or no let by? I've never had a pipe split rocky mate and I've used it on old black alkathene many times. You just tighten it up on the pipe and it stops flow completely. It won't work on domestic speedfit pipe though.  |

When you dig down and pipe is black how do you diagnose that the pipe is alkathene and not polyorc,p.b👍

Isn't polyorc those sizes? I had a dig job recently,and was going to use my squeeze off tool,but wasn't sure if it was polyorc or not😟
