Monument 2069 2069R Compression Fitting Spanner www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B001VD5CA8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_i_vm-gBb51NKYRXIt was only a matter of time! The Silverline(782343) one is now available at FFX for just over 3 quid. However it’s currently out of stock. Sorry I can’t link to it for some reason, however I do have one on order(paid £5.20 on eBay) & I will review it when I recieve it👍 Of course if Silverline Tools are endorsed by Craig(the most annoying Scouse prick in the country), they’ve got to be good.....or are they???

If it's silvershit from toolstation it will be made from compressed tin foil but will be guaranteed for life.

Might purchase one tomorrow,if it's silverline shite, will tell tool station to EAT MY SHORTS!!!!!😁😁😁😁😁 I’ve one of the split ring spanners from Toolstation EF & it’s made by Today’s Tools & it’s OK. I prefer the open end spanner like the Monument one. The Silverline Open ender looks exactly like the Monument one, but hey it would if it’s a clone! Time will tell after my extensive field trials, however, I’m expecting it to be the same manufacturer as the Monument one, I’ve a feeling Monument have re-badged it as their own - there’s no ‘Monument’ stamp on the spanner. Just another wee footnote on the split ring one; lots of guys apparently cut it in half & maintain its great for working on boilers like that.

Well it’s arrived & as you can see it’s identical to the Monument one, I’ll report back when it’s undergone the field trails Attachment Deleted
