So a toilet fitted, not by me, the cistern is about an inch or so off the wall
Can this be rectified?
I hate the 'put a bit of batten & screw the cistern to that scenario'
Cheers

Had one I had to cut the skirting board away to get the cistern to sit flush against the back wall - did you have any adjustment that way?

Whats stopping it going back flush? soil pipe too long? toilet hitting skirting/boxing etc?

You could cut some copper pipe and make x2 1" spacers. Secure the cistern to the wall with 3" brass screws screwed through the copper pipe spacers. Tappy,

A swan neck pan connector may help if that what is stopping it going back.

The pan connector
When all connected the cistern sits off the wall
They want it against the wall
It just goes straight back with no bends

Cut the pan connector down a bit.

if its that type in the post, you can, if its a mutikwik or macalpine you can't the ends are fixed, but you can change it for one of those polyplastic types,

Trouble is sometimes there's a bit of scaremongering with do this or you can't do that
This forum tells it like it is
That's why I'm always here, my second home.
Thx to everyone
