When buying imperial fittings what’s do you actually asked for 3/4 coupler etc.?

a plumbers merchants will know what you mean but, screwfix or toolstation you will have to find the cataloque number, You can't go wrong with a 22mm staight compression fitting, use a 3/4 olive if you can get one but don't sweat if you can't, a 22mm copper olive will work but back it up with paste or KX and wring its neck good,

I don't think so, we never realy went 100%, we buy litres of petrol but pints of beer, I still measure in feet and inches but the new lads do metric yet we still travel in miles, not kilometers, a joiner still buys three by two in wood, and carrotts are five bob a pound in Glasgow, test,,,2 half crowns, 3 tanners and a thripenny bit, how much is that in old, then new money ?
