Tower have always done good budget stuff, I remember in the 1980's they copied the honeywell MV's and they turned out to be as good as the honeywell at half the price and they've been doing it ever since,

Does it not need to be Open Therm for Boiler+ Battle? I thought that was just jargon from Honneywell - meaning it shuts down at the set value and doesn't over shoot it by the half a degree or so? |

Well kind of Battle. The Interlock(Room Thermostat) is in two way communication with the boiler PCB, the boiler PCB is monitoring the Return water temperature, room temperature & sometimes the outside temperature. The PCB can modulate the output of the boiler by the fan, the fan revs up & down according to the output requirement. It’s all digital protocol. |
