My old mentor's dead now, While he was alive but finished work he used to look forward to seeing me down the pub on a friday teatime, H e always wanted to know what i'd been doing and how i did it, Other people in the pub did't understand and used to say " hoi put your toolbox away, we're in't pub now", He'd love this site if he was still with us, I'd never change my job and if i was to be able to go back in time, I'd be a plumber again,,,

I do work for a dentist and he's being investigated for over a million in over exaggerated invoices for work not done on NHS clients but charged in full for course of treatment going back twenty years. they follow this model of charging for dead patients www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-birmingham-19845764

If I had my time over again, I reckon I'd be a veterinary surgeon. Our dog costs us a bloody fortune whenever we have to tek him to the vets. Last dog we had , got cancer. The vet told us it was terminal , but,,,,, he could help the dog by treating her for a few months. Cheeky fooker said the cost of this would be around £600.. We opted for the last injection she ever had (£35)

As the name is derived from Latin for lead worker and there is very little lead work involved in plumbing these days. A few of the older plumbers where I work keep saying to me that we wouldn't stand a chance of ever being plumbers if we where of the present time.
