A jam roll has asked if I can change this stop cock
I’ve not seen the job but here’s a pic
What do you think?
Cheers all

You would have to make some good access to do it rocky, she'll be tight to undo mate.

That's looks very tight to deal with Rocky and forcing one of those pipes to spring out of the way will be real fun, so assuming it passing while doing the work what's around it what will or could be damaged would decided if I would do that one.

PB's suggestion to re-washer it may work but unless I can get the handle off to use my deep deep sockets I wouldn't like that route neither.

Yeah rocky I would look first ! I did one on an old iron main recently and when I wound it off the iron pipe the thread had crumbled away, had to re-thread the pipe. smiley-confused002asak2

Looks as if it could be fraught with problems that one rocky. Put in a good price ££££ if you take it on. I would try to swap just the head part of the stop tap. Trying to get it to it through that gap with my crawldad spanner first (after giving it plenty of heat and some WD40 spray), if your lucky it may unscrew.
First problem is always locating then turning the boundary stop-tap though.

Stick cock changed, bit of a flood as outside tap not closing 100% but no choice.
1/2 “ in & 15mm out, 15mm tap, ptfe & jet blue, wrung it’s neck, no leaks,
PB have given me the all clear!
Easy job for £80 odd!
Also swapped a toilet fill valve, again easy job, 2 previous plumbs never turned up! Easy money this morning.
Cheers all

This is the one I done today rocky, I had to change the main stop cock on the right re-pipe and fit new PRV and hammer arrestor, re-pipe feed going to outside tap with new iso valve. Old tap was a twat to get off. Attachment Deleted
