Made a start on this job this afternoon, moved pipes for one rad and managed to get the flow & return for a couple of rads into airing cupboard ready. An interest collection of pipework in that busy airing cupboard PB. I love the airing cupboard was old school tonuge and grove(T & G) yet the other room looks like Chipboard - Why they don't spend a few quid more and have T & G and no squeaks puzzles me!

I've got to change the central heating pump in that airing cupboard tomorrow and it's between the wall and the side of the cylinder I may just cut it out, the pump valves look as crusty as hell.

It's certainly a "happening" cupboard that one PB! Is that a couple of home made stop ends" that I can see on that 22mm under the floor? Good luck with that pump.

I buy a cheap kneeling mat from the garden centre and cut it and put it under the shower pump. Cuts the noise right out

Customer spec request battle, I personally like the old three speed type. What I like about the old type as well is you can check the pump valves are holding by opening the vent screw.

You read my mind that was going to be my next question - so there's no pump bleed on those new ones at all then?
