I went to price a job up today for a second fix on a big extension and I reckon the first fix had been done by BB, what a fucking disaster nothing is in the right place  |

I found the flow & return pipes going into the new extension in a cupboard to be connected but it's no where near the main existing flow & return, and they've only used 15mm. Hot & cold feeds to the bathroom 15mm on a gravity system36_20_21surpize They want the main rads under windows but the tails come up about 4ft away.

Make sure you get a nice big deposit PB, maybe ( despite how bad he was) first fix plumber wasn’t paid? If no deposit forthcoming ACHTUNG☠️

Builders have done it themselves I reckon, I can never work out why builders think they can just have a stab at plumbing. I wouldn't attempt to build and plaster a wall, because I know I would take ages to do a shit job. Don't know why builders just imagine they know all about heating or plumbing.
Some of their efforts I've seen over the years have been hilarious. One builder I knew used to do everything in compression, because he couldn't solder and didn't have a lamp.
