Change the leaky TRV
All ok, drained down, very slow so got the wet vac involved. Old off, new Drayton TRV on, inhibitor in, fill up, all good, paid & pissed off.
Drayton trv / £16, on it’s own, 1 valve only. Not cheap
Not using cheap stuff.

Did you drain all of system into wet vac?good idea might buy one... No I used the pipe first but it was slow so I got fed up & I did the nut & pulled the pipe out with wet vac on, much faster I have the wickes one & its always been good to me. £30 I think |

Well done rocky  I only buy the trade TRV's because in my opinion they all do the same thing a bit like an expensive tap and a cheap one, I've been fitting them yrs and never had any issues. |

I agree with PB on this, I always get the cheapo and another strange thing,
when screw fix give TRV's with rad purchases as a gift, they give the Draytons, not the cheapo, that tells me they sell more cheapo's than draytons and they have more stock of draytons so they give them, Screwfix never give away best sellers, smiley-sad056 nay

Rocky when drain8ng do you bung the system on vented? I only ask as if you don’t it opens a whole heap of shite with airlocks
pressurised systems are great though

Airlocks are a twat on a vented system so if I get a shit one I fill it up slowly backwards through the drain cock via mains.
