I’ve never seen one before.

I justcan't get my head round why they got discontinued, a wash down pan is a sad impersonation of a syphonic toilet yet the wash down became the one that took over, If you go to America you'll only ever see syphonic toilets,,I just don't get it,

With the now standard 6 litre flush you will be struggling, Best bet is eBay or gumtree for a decent 2nd hand one.

That 2nd trap gave us plumbers a lot of blockage problems tom, so I'd site that as the reason they stopped being imported into the UK. Still very popular in the states (bet bb has got one )though. Maybe they don't have them toilet blocks that hang over the pan stateside? They where certainly popular here in the 70s and into the mid 80s.

they are giving the yung uns problems, they think its a blocked drain, and when they can't shift it, they fuck off, never to be seen again,

A customer local to me has still got one I repaired it a couple of years back, you could flush your enemies down them quite easy.

Of course, it's also quite scary when your shit disappears down them; it could almost be in a scene from The Amityville Horror movie !

Well, we’re currently fitting Tywfords & their Cistern Water Line is 4 fucking litres.!! Apart from that it’s good pottery, nothing out of shape & the Basins are great too!!
Its crazy, doesn’t save water, you just need to flush it more times.
