That doesn’t look like the 240 heat exchanger
personally id think twice about a repair that could bite you on the arse. A great boiler, but, 20 - 30 years old
the diaphragm is a great job on the diverter, as is boards aav and expansion vessel etc. Your in the realms of is it the water to water or is it the gas to water or maybe a weak pump. It’s a thankless task on a boiler of that age. Parts aren’t readily available etc
im a wo4cester engineer and I wouldn’t get involved in this job if one of my neighbours asked etc. The only thing I would do is flush it and put some strong cleanser in and try and clean it up

Hi battle , with this type of fault I always put heating on to eliminate slow running pump or partial blocked main heatexchanger. You can read on digital temperature / or just feel with hands either side of plate to see temperature differential ,to see if plate heat exchanger is blocked. Always a good method. I’ve even had faulty overheat stats give problems aswell, good clean up and new heatsink paste to eliminate that, and check with multi meter.Ive had no water in boiler👻stuck pressure gauge reading 1 bar given same symptom, These are my methods on a general basis for all boilers, but some individual boilers does have funny knacks! IE blocked filters , black hoses.
