Hi i just bought A house and noticed the boundary box outside has the key missing i think its the plastic black ones
Any ideas were i can by one from

The boundary "rat box" is the property of the local water authority.
I don't think that they'd be that interested in supplying you with a new key thgough.
One of those "hex T bars" that you can buy from any £ shop should do the job.
I'm taking it that it's actually a "rat box" with either room for or a fitted water metre inside.

As above, or if you've got a socket set with an extension it will fit the on the hex. Can't remember what size socket fits, but have used one on the odd occasion the plastic key's missing. Doesn't need to be tightened too tight to turn off the water, as the hex is only plastic. The keys limit the torque you can apply, but with sockets there's the potential to over do it.
