Customer just rang me, he’s tried to tighten he’s rad valve up & from what he’s saying the pipe coming out of the floor to the rad valve has split!!
So, I’m going on emergency call out £100, fight the Friday afternoon traffic to hopefully fix it.
Now, if there’s no play in pipes how would you fix it?
If there’s some play I can hopefully cut it & stick the pipe back in.
Cheers all

it would depend on the rad valve, if its a 15mm, no problem, turn off both sides, bung the tank or drop the pressure if it a combi or non vented, then snatch a new valve on, if its 10mm valve, it will need some pipe surgery as 10mm valves will not interchange,
