Worcester Bosch and Baxi do them all over the country
wb also do oil boilers advanced fault finding etc, solar, heatpumps. You can also do your quals cheap like acs and offtech with them
wb and Baxi are good courses, beware some of the others are just a sales shot where you won’t learn much
wb charge £25 which I think you get back, it’s for non attenders . And food is great

I’m just a Worcester engineer, nothing to do with training. Best thing is go on their website and look at training and training centres. They are based all over the country
im in cornwall, think wb use Camborne college down here

Do you have to be gas Safe to go on them, doc? Not sure pal, will ask the question on Monday if it’s not on the training web site. I would say so because technically you shouldn’t take a combustion chamber off without it. I’ll find out

I’ve done loads of Manufacturers’ free training; Ideal Logic Intergas Vokera Potty/Baxi Vaiiliant Ariston etc etc etc.
I was formally a Commissioning, Service & Breakdown Plumber/Heating Engineer with the company I currently work for. They are a New Build Subby Plumbers, so manufacturers bent over backwards for them. I got paid to attend👍👍 Most training days are good & you can pick up loads of tips. Don’t bother with them if you can’t use a Multimeter, FGA, can’t input rate, pipe size.....etc etc. You need the basics or it’ll go over your head.
Baxi do a three day course, which costs, apparently it’s very good.
Get on Youtube & learn the basics, Multimeter etc👍

Agree dickie, you need to know how to handle a multi meter. I ve got a clamp meter and I need it every day
worcester Bosch do a basic electric course as do Baxi. That’s a must for anyone who wants to fix things. It’s so easy when you know how. I’ve taken it all for granted all these years but realise a lot of people are weak at it
