Had a call out yesterday. It was to the place I visited in June so I thought the worst. It’s where I did imperial to metric.
On the last visit the tenant had stripped the bathroom. It was damp & smelly.
Get there & a speedfit tee is leaking badly. All easy, water off, put a brass one on, leak fixed, I through tissue down the toilet & that’s leaking from pan connector. Fix that too.
Bathroom still in a shambles. Toilet not fixed to floor & cistern missed wall by a good 8”, must’ve been so sort of boxing that the tenant removed.
All ok. I tell landlord & also tell him & tenant I’ll not guarantee my work because of the toilet being loose & bodger tenant is going to work there again. I think that’s reasonable.
Landlord 100%, he’s an injun!
Awaiting next call back to sort other bits out.
Tenant has also stripped kitchen of everything. Just hot & cold tap taped to wall. All waste water goes out the window, luckily it’s a ground floor flat!!
Payed with 10 mins. Very happy.
