Worked on a hot water taps today,no iso's,no gate valve to cylinder! So I bunged up c.w.s.t . While bunging the tank I noticed the vent slowly shooting water out!then stopped! All taps in house are pillor taps. Manual shower mixer in shower cubicle. Everything is on mains cold and gravity hot,so I'm thinking mains cold is passing through shower mixer down hot and back up to cylinder then slowly shooting out vent! Any other thoughts on this? Anybody had same probs? Probably will be going back to this,so I will try a check valve on hot side firstπ
