Ah, so there's a special tool that's needed to get em' off!! It'd be difficult to operate that tool in situ' though in many of the tight spaces that I have to work in! I'm usually cursing when I come across one. I normally give them plenty of heat, then get some pliers on it and pull whist using a slotted screwdriver to try and lever that collar back - the fittings now fucked but at least it's off! Now I've got a copper pipe end that I can get something else on (hopefully not another TT push fit ).
