I like bar mixer showers because when they fuck up you undo 2 nuts and throw it in the bin and put a new one on, cheap as chips.

I'm happy to do that PB but I like to have done a bit research, in case I break or I find addional parts are needed. Additionally, I find people on here tend to know the answer to my problems as I read the daily threads etc so I like to ask so I'm not reinventing the wheel.

I agree PB, they where designed by a practical person, Simple and easy, cheap and chearfull, Concealed shower valves are always a pain in the arse. smiley-chores037 binsout

I agree but that pain can be lessened by listening to those who've got knowledge on a product and I'm a good listener and there's plenty good teachers on here

I also give showers repairs a wide berth, the spares are expensive, a cartridge will be £100+ , so when you equate your time,research,collecting or ordering and waiting for delivery, there is very little profit and you can never be 100% sure it will cure the problem, So PB's advice on converting makes prefect sense, as always,
