Should central heating pipes be lagged? I have some that go behind a false wall down one side of an end terrace house. The false wall is brick ( dont ask me why) so I would imagine the pipes are losing heat without any benefit to the room inside.

Yes lag them & if they are in a loft/garage etc.
You don’t need to lag the gas supply pipe

I agree with rocky, lag them, heating a void is a waste of money and if it ever freezes, it will hard to access once the work is ended and all the furniture is back and carpets down,

The pipes are 10mm plastic. However, theres loads of 15mm foam insulation on ebay but not much 10mm. Will 15mm be ok or any other advice?

Very difficult. My latest plan is to tape the part I can get to and slide the foam tube down it.

I did have an idea of using a drainpipe about a foot long and squirting expanding foam in it...then move it along...squirt more etc. It didnt go well. The foam stuck to the drainpipe too much.
