I have a small steel cladding/sheeting job I want to do at a relatives property, it’s to replace a flat roof (mineral felt) which the seagulls are constantly eating off and in doing so, doing damage to the roof.
I was looking for the external roof to be obsticle free which could be done if I replaced the external open vent for a Durgo valve 4" which could be located in the roof space, which I would make sure has suitable air flow. Now I would like to know how reliable you've found the products you've installed as if it went faulty repair replacement wouldn't be via a simple access point it would require access through the roof.

I've always found them to be reliable, I can't ever remember going back to any, set them above the flood level which is usualy the wash basin waste hieght although I believe now there are some you can put lower but i have no experiance of those,
