Hello Chaps
I had virtually no choice in getting the drain where it is. Is there any way at all of getting a pan central on the wall and connected to this drain? The distance between the drain and the center of the wall is around 140mm.
I'm thinking I could fit a 110mm elbow to the drain pipe and push it into the wall a little but I think that would mean it would then be too close to fit another pan connector elbow.
I'm planning on fitting a wall hung cistern if that makes any difference so the drain pipes would be hidden by a false wall built to house the concealed cistern.
P.S. To those that helped on my shower trap, that is now fixed and leak free. Thanks a lot and if anyone cares I'll upload photos when its all done (if I'm not embarrassed about it that is!)

Flexible connector?
You don’t want to be on plumbers from hell!!!

Looking the photo, is it a plasterboard wall? If so, can you open the wall & get it centred ?

I don't stockpile many materials other than copper/siphons/traps etc but in the garage I have an untold amount of soil fittings and pan connectors and I take the lot with me when faced with such a job. I go through them until I find the best combination. Sod going back and forth to merchants.
The underground 15% bends are useful, not in this case.

Cheers Tom - that sounds the most promising. Presumably I can saw through the plain end as long as it is still "square" if you see what I mean - i.e. not too close to where the actual bend starts? Hmm although I suppose there also needs to be enough plain end to seal with the pan connector. Maybe 50mm is enough? I guess worst case, I'll move the pan a couple of cm as well and hope nobody notices. WF: I can definitely see why you take everything with you. Sadly my stocks of 110mm currently don't amount to much.

Another thought is I wonder if those finned pan connectors can be shoved up the bent part of that bend to gain another cm or two? Or maybe it has to be pushed into a straight bit of pipe.

Put the framing up first whatever size to accomodate the cistern, then place the pan in front of it to give you a better idea before you start cutting the soil pipe.

Thanks a lot for all advice. Would it be correct to say that there will almost certainly be a way of connecting it but without the frame and pan (neither or which I've bought yet) I won't know exactly which connector(s) to use until I've got them in place and tried a few things? In other words, should I have the confidence of buying the frame and WC knowing I'll (somehow) get them to fit?
