How do you connect into an underground soil pipe? A clay one.

Bro in laws friend want to convert outbuilding & out in a toilet & sink/shower. He’s an electrician, lives down south.

I’ve never done it or see it done. I’ll try & get a pic if the route but it’s not a long run.

Once you dig down & expose the pipe & make space to work is it a case of cutting a section out, 2 of them straight rubber connections & a branch in the middle?

Just cut the clay pipe with an angle grinder? What it it splits/shatters?

I need to learn it & hopefully do it.
