Failed to fix the toilet Had to rip the front wooden panel off. A duravit pan & geberet cistern. It’s leaking from the flush pipe on the cistern, the washer is in good condition. Reassembled & still leaked. It has this. Do you think the flush pipe is the wrong size? Any other thoughts? Very nice people & happy to pay. My plan is to buy a new washer set & flush pipe or whole new cistern for £80, same as is installed at present. Mushrooms growing on the skirting so must’ve been leaking forever.      |

you could see from the first instant, that was going to be a pig, You're doing the right thing Rocky new flush cone and pipe, if that don't work its resort to a sillycunt bodge, I hate those concealed set ups,

They’re going away tomorrow until 2nd Jan I’ll fix it then. Fix a new panel too, he went & got the wood today! Nice people for a change |

New split ring and clip is what I did last time and it sealed but I couldn't see anything wrong with old one, make sure its not misaligned, 0.000000000005 degree off and it leaks.

Last naughty one for me was with a bed of plumber mate and new seals set up,as the floor flexed when walking on it.
Mind I've never been to a job with mushrooms growing freely in the house, yeast, mould and other things I wouldn't know the name of, but they looked like Asdas finest range.

Last naughty one for me was with a bed of plumber mate and new seals set up,as the floor flexed when walking on it. Mind I've never been to a job with mushrooms growing freely in the house, yeast, mould and other things I wouldn't know the name of, but they looked like Asdas finest range. It’s a really nice house as well, in Windsor close to the town & castle.? |

I'm not familiar with that "split ring" set up rocky so I'd probably go with a new cistern and start again.
Those flush pipes on these concealed cisterns are normally a size all of there own!

I "USED" to like mushrooms as well!!  Seriously, there is a tunnel tech mushroom farm nearby that I often pass whilst driving and the smell from it is awful!! |
