I don't recall upsetting anyone, it's my opinion of which I'm very entitled to. Your a complete cock wobble who sits on the Internet causing trouble. Prick. You wouldn’t say boo to a goose in real life stay off the Internet tough guy Calm down Sir ! I think all the stress of them boiler repairs is getting to you. Attacking me like that makes you look like a cock wobbling prick. Remember opinions are like arseholes - everyone's got one.

Warranty work is a really small part of our work. We ve got hundreds of thousands of boilers and renewables on service contracts. That’s the majority of our work most of the domestic lads are on the 20 year old stuff most days Gawd help them BD, hands cut to shreads & replacing the shitty plastic bits - stuff of nightmares!! Whoofter Botch boilers are German shitboxes!! As you can see I hate them, overpriced sheds. They’re designed by idiots & a nightmare to repair. I fitted one, against my better judgement, that my BIL bought. Completely cleaned the system, text book install & I serviced it every year. 8 years is all he got out of it before the composite bits fell apart, pure plastic shite of a boiler!! Uneconomic repair, I replaced it with a Intergas Rapid. He ofcourse was inconsolable, couldn’t understand why it had all the rave reviews & it only lasted 8 years!! I did another one in St Andrews in Fife, fit only. That’s a two hour drive for me. Can’t recall the model, anyway, I stripped the old boiler & opened up the Whoofter; the guy was horrified that it was a plastic bracket holding the boiler on the wall. If I’d been local, he’d not of let me fit it. What a pile of shite!! They’ve got to be one of the worst boilers on the market.

Totally agree mr puller. I love doing different things, spices it all up and makes it interesting. this week I’ve changed two compressors on air to water units , fixed boilers, domestic and commercial and tried getting my head round the new 8000 controls which was a head fuck. Now I need to lie down in a dark room and have a pint You also work on the refrigeration side of the units then BD? I'm impressed!! I always hand it back to the Mitsubishi people if I reckon something's up with that side of it. If the units on and running but no cold air is coming out of it I would then say it's the compressor that's fucked. Any tips on this BD would be much appreciated.

I don't do much work on boilers nowadays but I'm always a bit angry at having to fiddle with that awkward WB key in order to repressurise the system!

I was involved with installing Vailliant AS Heat Pumps recently, what a total bunch of useless wankers their ‘engineers’ are. The best one I fitted was Diakin, fantastic units & top notch engineers.

Be careful CF, something will break on these plastic sheds, so don’t be held responsible for it. Tell the punter before you go near them how shite they are!!

Thank you J Rinder for clearing that up,, I'll send the Doc a bunch of flowers for having one of his babies insulted, If carlsberg made boilers, they'd have a Baxi badge on them,

I thought WB were full of plastic shite. But that's nothing to a Viessmann. Their Vitodens combis don't look as if there's any metal in them.
I'm sticking with Intergas, or Baxi 600 series if someone wants something more mainstream. Got to be proper copper and brass.
And is it just me, or does the bloke on the vid sound like Frank Spencer?

The new Ravenheats are good too Woody, all copper & brass. Hard to beat the Intergas though, fantastic range of boilers👍

Hard to beat the Intergas though, fantastic range of boilers👍 They would have to be very good to overcome their old image that got them the 'Ravenheap' nickname. But a lot of the reputation can be down to cowboy installs of a budget boiler. Saying that, they have an excellent engineer who's in charge of their training called John Wilson. If you see his vids on Youtube, his knowledge of boilers is second to none.

John’s a diamond Woody👍👍 He’s been very influential in what’s going into their new range, amazing value with many redeeming features. Definitely designed with the Installer & Service Engineer in mind, unlike the German shite!! £399 including flue & clock!! And you have their fantastic backup too, a no brainier really.

He sounds like a 5yr old woodbine His dad probably came home from work and found the boiler in a million pieces on the floor and the mum pissed up on sherry
