believe this or not, squirt of washing up liquid into the pan,leave for 10 mins and watch the blockage flow away!it lubricant around the walls of the pipe and blockage and makes it slip away!!! They don't call you professor for nothing not heard of that one mate.

What a gamechanger🧐🧐, great tip 👍I might try it on slow emptying baths ( my own!!)instead of £5 unblock fluids every 3 months for hair build up( lots of females onsite 🤫)

Yes, I think his use of hot water is another method that may make it more effective. I get calls from the pubs that I look after for blocked bogs. Always the ladies, stuffing fanny rags and half a roll of bog paper down them.
With washing up liquid, hot water and Tom's old milk bottle/coke bottle - there's nothing that can't be shifted.

The daughter of a mate of mine moved into a new flat a couple of days ago. I got a message saying that the toilet's blocked and could I help. I was busy so told them the mop and bag trick. Checked an hour later and they didn't know anyone with an old style mop, I remembered Toms Top Tip about the bottle so sent her a link. She would like to say thankyou Tom Attachment Deleted
