It’s a nasty job but sometimes good money & easy, needs to be priced accordingly
So, what are your methods?
I usually use a drain rod with something on the end & plunge it. Some people use a mop I hear.

My method like most is the easy route eg plunger or rubber glove. However, if that fails I find if you can get an enough hot water in most blocked pots clear for me, then as a last resort bicarbonate and vinegar but the latter can cause a hell of a clean up job.

I reckon that bottle method works better than a toilet plunger does!
As a rule if you're getting clear water back in the toilet from the plunge the blockage is normally at the manhole.
Do wear a mask if it's a bad one - the fumes can take your breath away leaving you gasping for air.

The Fairy Liquid is a good tip, I must try that one👍 Ah yes, there’s nothing better than getting some shit under your finger nails. You can still smell it on your hands 3 days later😂😂❤️❤️
