Called to urinal continually flowing
All concealed as usual, there’s a plastic cistern with a manual urinal flush.
Turn flow up & down but nothing
Ordered new valve & hope that works.
From what I saw on google it should fill the cistern & valve to a certain level & then it should release water.
Back Friday to fit & test
Cheers all

Most Urinal cisterns have a auto-siphon Flush Valve in them, if the water continues to flow into the Cistern & the siphonic action of the valve is for some reason broken, stop the water going in, it may flush? If not you’ll need to empty the Cistern to re-establish the siphon. It’s unlikely there’s anything wrong with the flush valve, it’s just flooded. HTH

I think at some stage a cistermiser was fitted as there’s a connector on the pipe. Cheers
