This daft cunt is promoting DaftyDIY Unvented cylinder installations, some of the questions & proposed installation methods are very dangerous. The moron doesn’t know what he’s doing:

He could do with that temperature release valve shoving up his arse then discharging! I'd laugh at the steam coming out of his ears !!! Sorry "Rodge the Dodge", he's really a good bloke at heart!

Well us Dafty's are allowed to, for example, change a socket in most rooms. If it wasn't protected by an rcd in the cu as many are not and I was to touch it while live that could kill me very quickly. Unfortunately, people get electrocuted for all kinds of reasons all the time. I don't know how many exploding uv cylinders there have been?
Hiding information is just making Dafty installations less safe than they would be anyway and I think the real reason is to provide those in the trade with respect (even though most but not all deserve that) as engineers and keep prices high.
Soon you'll need to take a health and safety course for crossing the road.

As for H&S, well lots is just common sense. Historically, unvented cylinders were introduced into the UK fairly recently, under a cloud of Rules & Regulations. Like Gas work, you need the qualifications to be competent.

Walter used to work in the R&D Dept of Silverline, He was a much respected senior engineer and predicted that a disaster will happen one day, To be safe and make sure you live happily ever after, fit a heat bank cylinder, they are much much safe and do not need any qualification to install

Hope the rag heads don't find out about this. Why go to the bother of trying to source Semtex or TNT. Just take a small UVC onto the underground with you.

The moron doesn’t know what he’s doing: Interestingly enough today I was fitting a replacement UV cylinder and among the usual bag of tricks (expansion vessel, pressure reducing valve etc) was a MV and a new dual thermostat (both new items) included in the normal package that we get from kingspan with these UVs. The apprentice said to me why the fuck have they included these? Well, thanks to Dicks posting of "Rodge the Dodge" fitting the unvented cylinder I knew the answer (at 16:12). No doubt it will be in the syllabus for next unvented course that I undertake! Just goes to show how we all learn new things in the brew cabin.

Sorry if I offended you, PB. It's the in thing these days for everyone to compete to see who can be the most offended.
I really meant to call them stone age, carpet-kissing camel worriers.
