If it’s leaking it’s got to be fixed
Over a period of time it could do a lot of damage you can’t see
Plus it’ll start to smell

That cistern is the type I’m dealing with but my one is screwed to wall. Shite. The flush pipe is loose.
I’ve bought a geberit bracket to try, if that doesn’t work ive told the custard the outcome
I’ve been brutally honest
I’m back Tuesday & I’ll report the good or bad news’
Absolutely shite set up

I'm monitoring it and now seems to be less than a teaspoon per day if that. This whole thing did make me wonder though as I've fitted a "normal" and cheap close coupled toilet from screwfix in the other bathroom. It made me wonder how would anyone ever know if the cistern was leaking a few drops per day into the pan?

no body would dafty, a teaspoon full per day would not be seen, Its only when the level of the cistern drops and the inlet valve activates that anyone would notice,
