Never done that before, never seen the need to but if you're leaving the packaging on as in the video then I can see the advantage!!! Nice video

overkill, why not get a 'strong arm' socket lever and give it the death grip as well ?

Its really quick & no spanners; I remember dressing 7 rads as a YTS, taking a while, loadsa prfe, boss white, and winding in . Yawn yawn. That quick method shown is cool , with loctite aswell? and low clutch setting on drill, going to save loadsa time on price work. Myself no need , not justified as not fitting lots of rads, but can see the benefits👻👻

back in the day, Central Heating in a day, was a common advert a glowworm fuel saver, 6 rads, new cylinder and contoller, there was a team of 6 men, 2 rad rats, 1 plumber,1 spark and 2 Labradors, the labradors shifted stuff took carpets up, lifted boards, the rad rats made up the rads and hung them and piped them, the plumber fitted the boiler and piped it up, the spark wired it then all hands to the pump for the early finish, typical day was leaving the yard at 8.30 am and home for 3.30-4.00, it looked like bearswood brown had been working in the house, broken floorboards that wobbled and creaked, burned and scorched skirting boards, flooded area's, carpets with lumps all over the house, scratched doors and furniture, lots of broken ornaments and glass, All the teams said the same thing in their defence " it was like that when we got there " oh what fun we had back then, and without any battery tools,

Bonus or fixed price subcontract work has always been a great area to bring out some very innovative thinking from those in the field - for work place evolution that's another great tip.
However, the end result will be less time for future install work, from the powers to be, as they eventually claw back the dollar.

However, the end result will be less time for future install work, from the powers to be, as they eventually claw back the dollar. With the huge shortage of good, fast, reliable & skilled Site Plumbers, the rates are going up!! Most of the National Builders are increasing their ‘Builds’ year on year. Most are PLCs with share holders to satisfy & a massive housing shortage - they can’t build them quick enough. As for me, I’m an old hand & slow compared to the young pups on-Site. Most are in their 20s & served their time house bashing. £84K/year some of these kids are making, driving top of the range Beamers & live life in the fast lane!! But hey we were all young once & making seriously good coin. If I can make £1K/week, start early, finish early I’m happy👍👍

I never really liked site work Dickie, it's nice not having customers to deal with living in the space you are working in though. I found majority of sites are full of unhelpful arseholes, you ask someone if they can move their van and they act like you've asked them to chop their leg off ! It was like a breath of fresh air when you come across normal folk. The site toilets are rank ! Some of them guys must have arseholes half way up their backs, shit everywhere. The worst three on site were always the groundworkers, roofers and scaffolders, the fucking pits the lot of them thick in the arms and thick in the heads.

I agree PB, everyone hates us because we are the elite on sites, we rip wood off whats in our way, smash plaster board to bits, crack tiles, burn paint, flood carpets and laminate flooring, Manys a time I heard a site manager say to his contracts Manager Today we have, 2 gangs of Brickies, 4 joiners, 2 electricians, 2 tilers, the roofers, the groundworkers and a FUCKING plumber, we know how to wind them up ,
