Hi. I'm installing new radiators and wondered if anyone has a quick way to mark out where to drill the floorboards so the pipe is straight and centred on the hole? What size drill bit for a 15mm pipe to give a neat finish? Thanks.

Put rad on wall with valves in place & go from there.

Put rad on wall with valves in place & go from there. Fit the Rad as my learned college has stated, mount the valves on said rad, uses small cutting of 15mm copper tube between the valve & the floor. ‘Eye’ it or use a small level to Plumb the tube, mark the floor to obtain the centre of tube. Remove small piece of tube & valve(it’ll hinder access with drill) & bore with at least 20mm speed/spade bit. Before hanging any Rad on the wall; establish the location of any joists, thus avoiding when boring👍👍👍👍

If you dont have the rads on the job and know the length of them add 45mm each end for pipe centres, ( 47mm for thermostat and 43 for lockshield )
and from the wall to pipe centre,
K2 - 75mm P+ - 60mm K1 - 50mm P1 - 45mm
these sizes were for stelrad rads,
near enough is good enough .
