Last job of week3:00pm on Friday. Replace manual air vent in airing cupboard. To avoid any dramas , bunged tank and vent in attic. Didn’t want to risk an airlock on a Friday by draining down😇job done refilled 20mins. Fire up boiler .... 2 hours later ,still fighting the most stubborn airlock 👻👻there was loads of bleed vents and drain offs all working aswell, Kept thinking , it will kick in any minute now. No chance. I remember Tom saying fit a filling loop is an easy option when severe airlocks happen( good tip) save struggling with hosepipes etc. Then I found this old shower hose which fitted onto fill hose (temporarily) installed. Problem was fixed in 2 minutes, cheers Tom👍also I was about to launch them old hoses other day out of van bloody good job I didnt💪 Attachments:

We always find away to win I do plumbing work at a large health clinic which is above a restaurant and if ever I drain that down I fill it up backwards through the drain off.

Open Vented CH systems can be a right cunt for air locks.
