Changed some tap inserts today and had to use a two foot mechanics breaker bar with a socket and a pair of 14 inch grips to undo them they were that seized/tight nothing else would budge em

CW you've got industrial / Maine specification tools on a domestic job, I'm proud of you. I bet the customers face was a picture and put them off wanting to DIY plumbing for life when they seen the carry on for a couple of tap incerts.  |

yea I've had to do similar, the customer was on my shoulder watching me struggle so i said, " right that does it, I'll get the artillery in " and came back in with the big stillies and a long iron tube to hold the taps,  |

I hate it when they set up camp & watch asking the odd question & giving their invaluable advice
