I've been working on my man cave for 30years, it's got everything but a gas supply. it's been great fun and I've loved every bit of the project and used 85% of recycled gear, either off the jobs I've been on or salvage yards.
My best tips are:-
Don't rush it as your building it as a cradle to grave project to suit various stages of your life
Make it super insulated so you can use it in the coldest of weather and enjoy the facilities you've invested time and money in.

Will do PB I’m planning it now Are you going to build your own Rocky or buy a big kit that you assemble ? You won't release what you have been missing and especially when her in doors is pissing you off. I was going to buy a kit or something. My garden isn’t that wide, about 14’ I think so I’m thinking full width but I’ll need a door front & rear to access the drive.

How much was that wood Tom?
I’m surprised at how much wood costs.

My ultimate ambition is a mancave. j want a bar, pool table, pokertable, couple of bandits, a pizza oven, hammock, and a nice log burner, and an overhead projector for sports . Moving house soon, wont have a mancave ,in garden. but will have a double garage which should fit most of above👍💪

I'm such a fool....when I was about 14 my mum and dad bought a new house and in the garden was a 'workshop' it was right at the top of the garden and was a weird green caravan type thing but not a normal one no tow bar or wheels, it was green and built like a tank. It said property of the Home Office on it and would have made an excellent man cave. I've never seen one before or since.
