Yeah I did see them at around £3.50 (for 8mm) but would need to wait for them to arrive so paid couple of quid more. It is staggering how SFx sell one shitfix-branded bit for twenty quid!!
Good to know I've made the right choice not to waste money on those super experience ones !

Yeah the Chinky ones are great, plenty water to cool it helps a lot. Another great tip I got from an auld Tiler, when it comes to boring Porcelain, bore 1/2 - 3/4 the way through the tile & punch the back bit through with a masonry nail. I’ve used this method for years & never brocken a tile👍👍

Anyone remember 365 Drills? They used to do diamond bits and were always at the trade shows but now seem to have gone.

Also, put insulation/masking tape on the tile before marking the hole so the bit doesn't slide all over the place and scratch. Start it at an angle and at a slow speed til it bites, then straighten drill. As DP said. a cup of water beside you is handy to keep dipping bit into every so often.

I'm amazed that the church has allowed him to keep his job - because of his title/job position he gets a shout in the smokey room as to who gets the next Pope job. Like Wetfinger said you can't trust anyone these days!

They are totally evil bastards and become like that as a result of some kind of genetic defect which makes them also very dangerous. It also adds insult IMO that we now have this culture of not trusting anyone. As far as I know whilst there probably are a lot of them around, as a percentage I _think_ and believe it reasonably small. Of course though the c*nts do gravitate to places where there are children so the percentage might be higher in such places. God help us though if we get to the point of suspecting all our mates !

Like Wetfinger said you can't trust anyone these days! It’s about power mate, if you have people in fear of you or hanging on your every word - that’s power & these bastards love it!! From Alex Salmond the former SNP leader, to the Muslim rape gangs in the north of England. Kids & some adults are too trusting. The Roman Catholic Church is full of Gay men & nonces, it’s a joke to say it’s a Christian religion.
