I'm looking to buy a 12 volt inverter to charge cordless tool batteries in the van, I've heard pure sinewave is the way to go, any recommendations or links to any I should be looking at?

to be honest I know little about inverters but I thought pure sinewave was for more sensitive equipment ?,for battery charging Id have thought a standard one would be fine-I did occasionally use my cheapo 150w to charge up my 12v dewalt drill with out any problems as I recall, one thing I would mention is to ensure it only draws power when the engines running as they suck a fair amount of juice
