Lots of 45degree bends are fitted in Plumbing & Heating, Soil Pipes, waste Pipes & even copper tube at times(if you’re too hard of thinking to use a bender!). So measuring these connections can be a PITA, but this video explains a meathod to get the correct size of pipe cutting between two 45 fittings.
Me, I’d simply measure my centre to centre size of the offset, multiply that number by 1.414 & then deduct the size from the centre of the pipe/fitting on both sides, this will give you the correct cutting size of pipe between two 45degree bends.....job done👍👍👍

I use a practical approach, draw two chalk lines on the floor, place my bends on the lines, then measure the pipe lenght required from socket to socket,

If Ive got some bends ,that have to be bang on ( no knee tweek escape!) I will use a good lenght of solder as a template( might have read it on here ages ago , works a treat 👍) intetesting clip though, it says for 60degree bends Not 45 ?
