They're good and in some cases you'd definitely want one, but I'd prefer a normal trap, the hepvo has a rubber fanny in it that gets clogged up and starts letting smells out, a bit like a real fanny...
for saving space as it saved me cutting/shortening the basin "grating" (fancy word for the threaded metal basin outlet!) to allow a drawer under the basin to open and close as they always design these stupid things with no thought for the trap.
