So how does a c plan get set up?

you're right a C plan is on old gravity systems, In an old gravity sytem the heating was pumped but the hot water circs worked by gravity, were the hot water becomes lighter and raises towards the cylinder while the cooler water in the return pushed down causing circulation, there was no control until honeywell made a motorized valve to block off the return which stopped the circuit, that was the C plan,
