Got called to a leak other day. Came upon this👻. Now I don’t claim to be a da Vinci of pipework, but WTF ! 16 unnecessary joints on a tiny wash basin. No inserts and leaking when touched( I did say don’t touch it then but he still wanted it repaired😂)I also had to fit a syphon on wc, it was silicone city all over the show. Attachments:

That's horrendous GB. To the average DIYer though "tap turns on the water" = good job! Last week a customer said to me "those push fit fittings are rubbish, the one in the bathroom keeps shooting off so I've put a cable tie around it to hold it on"! I had a crafty look at it and he'd used push fits on chrome tube !

He'd probably cut the flexi with a hacksaw and use a compression coupler to extend it.
He must be a student of modern art. Looks like some of that Turner prize shite.
