If I pull out old pipe in my house I often reuse it unless its painted in which case I normally can't be bothered.
Yes, occasionally. OK to re-use hot or cold water pipe on ch, but wouldn't recommend other way round. More likely to use it on my own projects, though I have used the odd used piece of pipe for a customer when it's hidden under floor. Because I had run out of new pipe, couldn't be arsed to go to merchants, and had some decent used bits in van. Just a bit of recycling.
