Im probably the only one but i never new you could cut PVC pipe with a stringline just saw it in this video incase anyone else didnt already know (wish i knew the other day when i couldnt get anything on a waste pipe to cut it ) its at about one minute ten the other tips are shite

I bet it ms those yanks trying to be clever Yep , definitely a Yankee doodle Dandy , that purple primer shit they use gives it away........and Blue glue that looks absolute shite when it dry's , also have you noticed in these Yanky vidioes that they never clean the fucking excess glue off to make it more presentable....!!!

I bet it ms those yanks trying to be clever Just went outside to test it and it started to melt its way through but it made a horrible squeaking sound that would piss off the neighbours so i will test it out tomorrow when peoples kids arent asleep and get back to you guys

Right finally got round to trying it out and it is possible by no means the best way to cut pipe but if its in a really awkward place to get a tool at it could come in handy Attachment Deleted Attachment Deleted

Also tried out a wire camping backpacking saw that i thought would work well for pipes in tight spots and it did cut well once it got going but you had to start very slow and straight to start the cut otherwise it just scuffs the pipe to shit Attachment DeletedAttachment Deleted

Basically if you can get a pipe cutter multitool hacksaw in there to cut it do but for when you cant get at it or if your a Diyer and don't have any of the fancy gadgets then this will work
