Please see both photo's my question is how does the micro bore pipe actually connect and disconnect from the wall is it just push fit same as the rad valves ?? Attachment DeletedAttachment Deleted

that box they are going in us just a box like a phone wire box, it keeps the joints neat, and yes they are push fit,

The pipe probably doesn't disconnect from the wall. They are usually a single length of pipe from the valves back to the flow and return.

As above. Where the pipe enters the box, it is just a grommet. The pipe goes through the grommet and up into the wall. If you need to alter/lengthen the pipework, you can use push fit fittings on the pipe before the box. The fittings will be hidden behind the rad.

They’re called Manthorpe boxes, the pipes just pass through them & they provide an air tight seal on the Plasterboard. The pipes can be disconnected at the Street Elbow below the valve, it’s a simple push fit fitting👍

Hi Guy's Ok I think I will have to change the rad position (ie) move along the wall a bit so one side the pipe will not be long enough so am I right in thinking then ....If I need a longer pipe one side just buy a 10mm straight push connector and 2-off stiffeners and away you go .....is that correct ?? Thank you

Thank you Yes mate, will you need to move the Manthorpe box also? As that may result in a wall repair.
