Now I know a bit more... I want to fit drain off valves to the rads, but the lock shields only have two "ports". I'm guessing a short piece of pipe, t piece, pipe to the return? Anyone point me in the right direction for the t? I've looked but can't seem to find what I think I'm looking for!

Thanks Plumberboy! I was looking at them, but I got the others on recommendation, and couldn't arsed to change. Now thinking I should have. Not liking the pipe t pipe setup, more to leak. But, done right it won't, just a bit fugly.

Probably be cheaper and easier to swap out the lockshield valves with these ones mate, you can get compression drain off valves to go on the pipework but they look horrible mate.

I'm rapidly coming to that conclusion PB. I'll try to return what I have, or muddle through and have some spares. Thank you!
