On Thursday I was working down a alleyway cutting down pipes to size, van parked at distance, struggled my ass off cutting on the ground! Done some research for something to use. What your thoughts before I buy? What do you use?

I use anything to hand, bricks, wood, a wall, my tool bag and it is frustrating working on the floor so, if those are well priced I might have tried one out,

I'm the same as Tom in I use what I have to hand which is usually my tool bag, I would say it's a handy device but that would depend on cost as I'm a tight arse

I thought that too endfeed but, it would have to be 1/2 inch at least and would start splitting after a while, I think you should get it, then in a couple of weeks give a warts an all review to our members,

one job I always struggled with was cutting boiler flues down, the metal is thin and you have 2 walls to cut through with only a short length of pipe, that contraption might prove to be worthy of its cost in that situation, or maybe adapt that idea to suit boiler flues,
