What happened there p.b? Do you redirect the pipe?

What happened there p.b? Do you redirect the pipe? You could hear water running inside endfeed and the leak was under the foundation, I connected onto the old pipe and clamped off the MDPE switched the main on and checked for no other leaks elsewhere and was good. Then made access into the building for the new main all went well in the end
