Been out to a leak this morning - should of been a quick call but the guy didn't stop talking first call tomorrow is an immersion element change, could to interesting

I’ve changed two immersions on an unvented in the last few months. I’m going back with a titanium one. Problem is it’s on a bore hole, the chlorine is attacking it

I’ve changed two immersions on an unvented in the last few months. I’m going back with a titanium one. Problem is it’s on a bore hole, the chlorine is attacking it I find the unvented you can give the old immersion more violence as the copper cylinder you have to tickle them out The last unvented immersion I changed was a mega flow Doc and the cost of the immersion was ridiculous

Mind that element looks really rough what type of water you dealing with down there PB? Hard water battle, this element is apparently 3yrs old but I'd imagine it's for soft water area only.

I've never changed any up here what look as rough on removal as that and the colours are super vivid on yours, up here it's just a light brown its must be the ostrogen they leave in it in Kent.

Completely destroyed. When I tested it on my first visit it gave me a perfect reading on resistance and then I tested continuity between live and earth and she buzzed

I'm guessing that the (too much) chlorine is being added because the bore hole supply is contaminated?
