Got to fit X2 to the c.w.s.t in a multi storey block of flats tomorrow, anyone know much about these type of ball valves, if it is a ball!!!

They use them on the ships I've sailed Endfeed 6" flanges with a large s/s float simple but quality gear - they looked similar to this www.ttpumps.com/equilibrium-ball-float-valve.htmlWhat size have they told you your fitting on the tanks invovled? |

I don't know the size battle, only got job today and I've got to pick up the valves in the morning the multi storey flat are huge so I imagine they're Gona be big mother fookers! I'll get plenty of pics👍👍👍👍👍

The operation is in the name. Equilibrium ballvalves have two washers & only when the pressure is the same on both washers do they close off. Most cistern fill valve are equilibrium type valves now, so get used to them chaps, when they go faulty always replace the two washers, saves a lot of grief & if you know how they work you’ll understand why you change the two. watch this video & it may help: Page 5 fastpart-spares.co.uk/Instructions/E080601.pdf |

After Brexit we'll have to take them all out and replace them with a traditional British Portsmouth pattern :-).
