hello mr guesssed one, a kumquat 28i is ideal for your friend and another is an ideal 28i too, Baxi's are good for the money and in my opinion are the best bang for the buck boiler available,

flues are not interchangable, They are manufactured to the output of the boiler and if it does not have the capacity to move the exhaust 2 things might happen 1. the boiler will not work at all 2. it blows up all the Black country and every kumqat within it,  |
